Why Is Your Sponsorship Needed?
Since our athletes compete individually, in a completely amateur sport, all the lifters must either work or go to school full or part-time and have precious few resources to travel and compete on their own. Many times, all the training and hard work are for naught as the athletes simply cannot afford to travel to National and Regional competitions.

Due to the hardships of these amateur athletes who strive for Olympic glory, we are seeking sponsorship from individuals and commercial organizations who could also benefit in an advertising/promotional sense by sponsoring a regional Olympic Weightlifting team.

This is your opportunity to gain recognition as a sponsor of the northeast region's premier weightlifting team and become a part of the United States Olympic movement!

Our team has an annual budget of over $50,000. Expenses average $500 per person to send a lifter or staff member to National level competitions!
 

What can our team do for you?

logo on team clothing (T-shirts and warm-ups)

logo on team banner (displayed at all East Coast Gold Events)

logo on all advertising of team events

press releases: after all competitions, press releases are sent to your local newspapers identifying you and your group as a major sponsor of the team and the local athletes.

displays products/ services, handouts of promotional materials at events as your group wishes

club members can appear at promotional and community programs as requested by the sponsor (i.e. safety clinics, exhibitions, store or company promotions, etc.)

other options are available as requested on an individual basis

How Does Sponsorship Work?
Sponsorship Options

GOLD MEDAL Sponsor: $5,000
SILVER MEDAL Sponsor: $2,500
BRONZE MEDAL Sponsor: $1,000 Contributor: up to $500

All donations are tax deductible.

Checks should be made out to East Coast Gold Weightlifting Team  and mailed to Leo Totten at the addresses listed below. You can also donate safely and securely online through the links on this page to the WerksanUSA web site. Please specify if you wish the donation to be earmarked for a specific satellite center or for the Team. Thank you.
